You’ll lead the charge in developing and executing integrated media strategies that drive results, leveraging your expertise to align paid media efforts with client business objectives.
In this individual contributor role, you’ll own the strategic vision across paid media channels, including media mix, audience strategy, creative direction, and performance measurement. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring strategies to life and work hand-in-hand with Client Services to build strong, lasting client relationships.

Your Role at Blend
As the Associate Director of Media Strategy, you will:
Deeply Understand Client Needs: Gain a comprehensive understanding of client businesses, industries, and competition to craft effective marketing strategies.
Develop Integrated Media Strategies: Lead the development of cross-channel strategies across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic (Display, Video, OTT, Audio, DOOH), including media mix, budget allocation, audience architecture, creative strategy, KPI development, and measurement frameworks.
Collaborate and Execute: Work with channel teams to execute strategies and monitor budgets, reallocating funds as necessary based on performance insights.
Drive Performance and Innovation: Analyze in-flight performance, propose strategic pivots, and lead testing frameworks to foster continuous campaign improvement.
Lead Client Engagements: Represent Blend in client performance calls, delivering cross-channel insights and business reviews with compelling storytelling and actionable recommendations.
Provide Thought Leadership: Share industry-specific insights, explore new channels, evaluate partner opportunities, and assist sales teams in securing new business.
What You Bring
Experience: 4–6 years in paid media advertising with hands-on experience in media activation across multiple channels (Search, Social, Programmatic).
Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-channel client engagements, optimize campaigns, and manage budgets with minimal oversight.
Analytical Mindset: Strong experience collaborating with analytics teams to track performance and develop dashboards that inform decision-making.
Collaboration Skills: Expertise in working closely with clients, internal teams, and external agency partners.
Communication Excellence: Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to respond quickly to challenges.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
